FlyLive Studio

FlyLive Studio, a successor to my old FlyLive project, is a free application which allows flight simulator livestreamers to have an overlay on their livestream. This overlay displays flight information pulled directly from the simulator. The overlay is an HTML file that can be embedded in most popular livestreaming clients.

It includs a full-blown overlay editor not unlike the one in OBS. This made the overlays more integrated with the application itself, allowing overlay them to display a wider variety of information, as well as have more visual flair and faster update rates.

Despite its complexity, it was still accessible to less advanced users due to the carefully thought-out UX and ready-to-use templates.

It was made for a high school project, of which, quoting my supervisor, "the highest distinction grade does not do it justice".

FlyLive Studio is still the gold standard for livestreamers who want to livestream flight simulators with full control of their branding. This is due to the huge amount of granular control the streamer is given over every single element in their overlay. For this reason, it is used by some of the biggest flight simulator livestreamers.
